I Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and completed a Masters degree in Contemporary Artistic Practices at the same institution, tutored by Prof. Dr. Pedro Llano Neira.

At the University Hochschule Luzern in Switzerland I studied  Design und Kunst, and in the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, I studied documentary and visual anthropology.

Onboard the Grande Francia freighter, I crossed the imaginary Ecuador Line in May 2012, where I could see everything from its bridge, through a small gray device. A backlit display showed several digits in countdown,  suddenly converting to a rising count as we crossed over.

In 2018, as part of the art residency Spring Sessions, I crossed Jordan by foot, north to south.

In 2019, I co-created, co-curated a film festival in the Jordanian desert of Wadi Rum called Al Qamar Al Qamar. For five days we held screenings, workshops, performances, talks, walks and night soups.

A founding member of Cine Clube Ponto Aurora, based in independent space in the center of São Paulo, Ponto Aurora I went on to create Cine Club Khora in Athens, Greece.

In 2016 I co-founded Khora Athens, a community centre that has been operating ever since among many of its projects, our social kitchen in Kipseli, was one of the few social kitchens still cooking during the first lockdownin May 2020, producing up to 1200 free meals daily.

In parallel to my practical activism and intercrossing/intermingling with theme and content, I continue working as a filmmaker and cinematographer.
